Relaxation within your own home

People often think you have to go out to have a good time or to enjoy yourself. However, you’re home should be one of your happy places… that’s right, it should be. As for me, I love for my home to be clean. It just gives me a sense of comfort. I clean until I’m happy. And to top it off, once a month, I contact my favorite carpet cleaner to come clean and freshen my carpet. If you’re in the Alabama area, check them out here . They are great and affordable. If you don’t live in the area, find you someone in your area if cleanliness is your “thing” too. When all the dishes are washed, all the laundry is folded, the furniture is dusted, and the entire place smells so fresh and crisp, I am absolutely satisfied.

Shop Til You Drop

If you’re like me, then shopping is something that you absolutely love to do. And if you enjoy it, use it as something to do during “me” time. You can go alone or take a friend along to make it more enjoyable.

You may ask “what if I don’t have any extra money to blow?” So what! You can window shop! Window shopping gives you ideas of things that you may want to work towards buying. Or seeing items on the manikins may you an idea of how to piece together some items that you already have. Or browsing furniture and home décor stores may inspire you in decorating your home.

If you do have a little extra money, then I’m a strong advocate of treating yourself. It is definitely okay to reward yourself by buying you something new. It’s pretty devastating to work and simply pay bills. Account for a little shopping in your budget if possible.

Whether you’re into clothes, shoes, jewelry, other accessories, electronics, furniture, home décor, automobiles, or something else, go to the indoor or outdoor shopping malls (whichever you prefer) and take a look. You can browse around and even buy something for yourself if you can afford to.

If shopping is something that you enjoy, then do it! There’s nothing like spur of the moment trip to the mall! We, especially women, normally love it!!

Most people don’t think of it in a positive way, but it can be used as a form of relaxation. Now, am I telling you to go spend your entire check, all your bill money, or your savings? By no means… I’m just telling you to browse around your favorite stores, and it may help take your mind off of all the other things you have going on.

Treat yourself to Some Relaxation!

What’s a life without relaxation? Ummm… I know, I know!! STRESSFUL. And we all know that stress negatively affects you in so many ways, such as your mood, your healthy, etc. Therefore, make sure you incorporate relaxation as a part of your schedule. You always need time to unwind, take a deep breath, and just release it all and relax. I’ve found that the spa is a perfect way to do that!

I absolutely love the spa! The serene and calming environment allows you to forget about all your worries and to lull you to an unexplainable peace. Most spas offer so much for you to choose from, including, facials, manicures, pedicure, massages of all kinds, etc. Who doesn’t love those things?

I view pampering as a reward. After all the days of going hard, working long hours, and fulfilling all of the responsibilities life brings, a few hours of papering is just what I need. I actually look forward to it.

I’m a massage type of person myself. Massages help to get all the knots and tension out. You leave the spa feeling like a new person. It’s not only beneficial mentally but also physically. You feel so refreshed. It’s really great for people who incorporate physical activities as a part of their daily routines.

So if you are looking for a way to relax, the spa is at the top of my list of recommendations. There’s something for everyone to love about it. Get a facial that brings back your natural glow. Or get those hands and feet pampered! Or maybe you’ll like a foot rub, who doesn’t? Or may you will even choose a full body massage. But regardless of what you like and what you choose, do something that helps you to relax. If you like to be alone, go alone. If you want to bring a friend or significant other, that’s great as well. Just do something! You won’t regret it!

Welcome to Fun Brain 24/7

Hello World!!! Welcome and thank you for visiting. Our site is about living life to the fullest, enjoying life, and having fun. Life is too short to be serious and working all the time. Everyone needs at least a little laughter! No need to be uptight and worried all the time. Just trust and believe that everything will work out for your good.

With that being said, let me tell you a little about why I started this website. Previously in my life, I was someone who worked all the time, stressed all the time, etc. and rarely did anything fun or enjoyable for myself. I eventually became so depressed that it started to affect my health… I began having chest pains all the time and I didn’t know what was causing them. I went to doctor after doctor, and no one could give me a definite diagnosis. Finally, a doctor indicated that stress could be the cause of it all. Wow! I never realized how serious stress was and how it could affect you.

The doctor prescribed anxiety medication for me. I took it for a few weeks and it helped a bit, but I began experiencing headaches as a side effect. So I stopped taking the medicine. But how was I going to prevent future chest pains?! Well, that’s when I decided to find a way to minimize my stress levels. I finally realized that I needed to start taking some time for myself and enjoying life. I love to travel, go to different places, and try different foods. Before, I rarely took the time to do these things, it was always work, work, and more work. So I began to make a conscious effort to have fun and not take work and other things to heart. And it eventually became a habit. And since then, I haven’t had not one chest pain. Life is so much more fun, enjoyable, and fulfilling!

I told you that story to encourage you to enjoy life. Have a little fun! On this website, I’ll be sharing some of the things that I do for fun and some of the ways I like to enjoy a little R & R (rest and relaxation). Stay tuned!
